Even the PiG has rules . . .

We’re so stoked you’re here but make sure to check out our Do’s and Don’ts list below, so you’re totally prepared! Continue down to check out our complete FAQ

Do’s

  • Look over some different camping festival checklists! Here’s some links to some we love: Essentials! Tips & Tricks!

  • Keep your wristband on all weekend! It’s your way in and out of the center of the festival

  • Respect the land. Rainbow Valley Ranch is private property, and is dearly loved by the owners, along with us! Remember to go see the tipi and the sign out front for a deeper connection to the history and rich culture that Rainbow Valley is steeped in

  • Check out the festival map to familiarize yourself with the layout ahead of time

  • Leave the glass (including glass liquor bottles), firearms, fireworks, and any other kind of weapon at home please! See the don’t section below for a more detailed list

  • Plan on walking a lot and drinking lots of water!

  • Speaking of water, bring lots! We’ll have plenty of water for free but always good to be prepared

  • PiG Fest is rain or shine (unless the weather is dangerous) so be prepared if it rains! Mud boots, raincoats, and a new change of socks are all necessary. That also means all sales are final

  • Arrive early for a good camping spot! Guests can arrive starting 10 AM Friday, September 9th and can continue to arrive throughout the weekend

  • Bring a portable shower! There are no showers on-site

  • Bring a valid, government issued ID

  • Stay at home and get well if you’re feeling sick

  • Help and love thy neighbors

  • Bring your kiddos! Children 12 and under get in free

  • Put your phone number on your kiddo’s wristband

  • Generators are OK as long as they’re less than 4KW. Gasoline is OK but NO MORE than 10 gallons per generator per vehicle and they must be in appropriate containers. Any more will be confiscated and no generator = no gas

  • Have yourself one hell of a weekend!!!

Don’t

  • Bring in anything you think you shouldn’t! If you have to ask if it should stay at home, then it probably should

  • Bring any pets. ADA Compliant service animals are always welcome

  • Start any kind of fire. A small cooking grill (we’re talking very small here) is ok but anything bigger is prohibited

  • Litter. If you’re camping you will be given a trash bag for your waste. PiG Fest will have plenty of waste bins to dispose of trash

  • Play really loud music or bang on drums past 1 AM

  • Here’s a quick rundown of everything you CAN NOT bring in. DO NOT BRING THESE THINGS, THEY WILL BE TAKEN: kegs, glass, wooded fires, drones, fireworks, illegal substances, bicycles or any other wheeled transportation devices, professional cameras, pets, glow sticks, box-trucks or tractor trailers, vending (sharing is cool, selling NO), laser pens, power tools, weapons. THESE RULES ARE FOR THE CAMPGROUNDS. SEE BELOW FOR THE CENTER AREA

  • Here’s what you cannot bring into the center area of the Mighty PiG: Oversized backpacks or bags with multiple pockets, food or drinks (we’ll make an exception for some snacks and the like), inflatable couches, weapons, selfie-sticks, outside alcohol, wagons, bikes/scooters/skateboards. This is for the convenience of everyone, folks!

  • DO NOT take your wristband off once it goes on. It’s your ticket in and out of festival grounds. That’s right we said it twice because it’s that important

  • Don’t bring in any kind of weapons. Anything. No num-chuks, no pistols, no knives, no anything.

  • It goes without saying but we’ll do it anyway: We have an absolute ZERO tolerance policy for any sexual assault and/or sexual abuse. If you experience or witness sexual harassment or sexual abuse at PiG Fest, please report it to our Welfare/Info Team who are located at the Info tent. They have a safe space for you to discuss any issues confidentially and discreetly.
